My usual day is just spent at home..either lurking myself in bed waiting for the day to end or spending more time infront of pc...chatting and chatting to people. For one who has a busy lifestyle may find my day really boring..so monotonous. At first, that's what I felt..real bored! But then later, get used to this kind of day. Well, I used to complain with G how bored am I at home. So, we enrolled myself to polish class so I will know the language too..But then second semester comes, i have to stop my polish course 'cuz of my pregnancy. And now, I am learning by my own..actual conversations with my in-laws. Well..I miz my classmates...school..and the battles of speaking polish in class and learning to understand every word our teacher has to say. Anyway, I have to take my time...soon I will know the language..just need to practice it.
And so the life I have now, is equally opposite from the kind of life I am living in 'pinas..Really busy with life at work, other sideline jobs, school and single life. As if, I don't get tired at all. Before, 24 hours is not enough for my day. Wishing & hoping then...i could pull more hours to do more things..but at the end of the day I don't find happiness with all my busy hours. Now, I have all the time in the world..for myself, as a wife and I can do whatever stuff I want to do. When baby will be here, for sure life would be totally different at all. So, i have to take my time now doing things I like.
As I was writing this, I am as well watching 'ZORRO', the classic TV series of the 50's...starred Guy Williams. This classic hit show is the favorite TV series of G when he was a kid. He never failed to watch every episode and it was still on a black & white picture then..that's what he said. I learned that only last 1992 that they have a colored version of the series...and that's what we are viewing now..a colored one gain from the old B&W picture. 'Till now, G is still a fan of 'ZORRO'..he infected me with his fantacies of 'Zorro' and that's why I was tasked today to record today's episode, while he is busy painting our kitchen.
I was only able to watch 'THE MASK OF ZORRO' way back 1998..it was already starred by Anthony Hopkins, Antonio Banderas & Catherine Zeta-Jones (if i remember it well). Back then, I find as a nice remake classic movie ...full of interesting stunts. Among my favorite the chasing of the black horse of Zorro...but they couldn't really chase Zorro.
Now, it's back in Polish TV, G never fails to record every episodes of it. Even, if we're out of the house..he still can manage to record it. G said, it is one of his favorite things he'd like to share with our future children..his childhood fantacies of Zorro...his simple happiness as a child..With all of these, I am 'gaga' now of 'Zorro' the classic series...sometimes I am the one who ask G if there's Zorro showed on TV..and he just smile and said..'oh your a fan of zorro now too!' Well, I find the show not only entertaining but as well full of moral lessons about helping others and living a simple life of honesty & respect to people. No wonder it was a classic hit!
Oh yeah! I was tasked to record it..and i could hear the popular theme song now...it means the show is over... i have to stop the recorder.
when the full moon is bright,
comes the horseman known as Zorro.
This bold renegadecarves a Z with his blade,
a Z that stands for Zorro.
Zorro, Zorro, the fox so cunning and free,
Zorro, Zorro, who makes the sign of the Z.
Zorro, Zorro, Zorro, Zorro, Zorro.'
you can view more about the history of classic 'zorro' at this site http://www.billcotter.com/zorro/history-of-series.htm
Till then..enjoy your weekend!

That just reminds me that there is a large Polish community in NYC. A photographer friend, in fact, mainly books Polish models because of their distinct facial features; very pretty women, actually.
Would you believe that when I was a little kid, the local fim industry also had its own Zorro-type swashbucklers? I think it was Cesar Ramirez who was the number one Filipino actor-swordsman at that time. Your grandfather might remember this ... hehehehe.
Yes! Polish ladies are really beautiful..their eyes really has a different expression aside from the color. It is true that there's a large Polish community in the U.S.A. POlish are migratory race too like Filipinos.
Oh i didnt know of that Senor..i will ask my grandfather..but opps..they are in the other life now..heheh! maybe my dad knows. Tks for sharing some of your childhood memories. tks for dropping by too.
