The best chocolate chip cookies!
Sunday, February 09, 2014
Baking is one of my favourite past time other than reading, photography, sewing and writing poetry. For it relaxes me. There's some kind of therapy in it. It gives me freedom to express myself, my moods of the day and I just love baking and cooking for people. It's like giving a part of myself. *kidding! True!
Weekend is baking session for me and my kids. My kitchen turns into a baking show...you know with all the mess the kids made while helping (kind of) but it's a beautiful mess. With it, I'm building wonderful moments with my kids.
So last Saturday.....
I made the best chocolate chip cookies! Ever!!!
That's what my children's verdict.
Hugs for such a sweet cute compliment.
Alright...here's the recipe :
Ingredients:
1cup butter (room temperature)
2 large eggs (room temperature)
2tsps vanilla
2 1/2 cups unsifted flour
1tsp. Baking soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
2 cups of chocolate chips (one you can eat right away, I used milka chocolate brand)
How to:
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
2 Stir flour, baking soda and salt together and set aside.
3. Beat butter and sugar together on Medium speed till mixed together. Make sure not to over mix.
4. Add vanilla and eggs to butter mixture and beat slowly.
5. Gradually stir in flour mixture. Don't over mix, just mix until flour is mixed into it.
6. Stir in chocolate chips by hand using spoon.
7. Grease cookie sheet and place cookies at even sizes.
8. Put cookies in pretty heated oven for 9-10 mins. Cooking times vary.
9. Watch cookies in the oven. Make sure not to overcook the cookies or else you will have crunchy cookies not gooey.
10. Take cookies out of the oven, let them rest on cookie sheet for 2 mins. Then to the cooling rack.
Enjoy with a cup of warm milk in the morning.
Smacznego!
Love,
Ai
