She's 6!
Tuesday, July 23, 2013
There is no reason not to blog about yesterday for my little girl just turned 6 years old. That's amazingly great!
Who would have thought that this baby who completes me as a woman and who changed my life entirely is now 6 years old.
Who would have thought that this baby who completes me as a woman and who changed my life entirely is now 6 years old.
Whew!
Time flew so quickly. I missed her that small. When all she knew is to cry when she's hungry for milk and if she needs a dry nappies.
She's doing marvelously great in everything. She has an ambition of her own like: She wanted to be an artist, an illustrator of a children's book and a Flight Stewardees so she could travel all over the world. What an ambitious dream. But we never know she might be like one. For at an early age, she really likes to doodles, sketch and draws even on our wall in the house. I exposed her to the world of drawings at such a young age. So, she's influenced in some ways by me. My love of arts and stuffs.
Yesterday, is her 6th birthday.
To my Izabela Wiktoria, you're one of the amazing things that happened to me and that I have loved you even before you were born. When I see you smiling and happy, you reminds me that life is worth living and worth fighting for. Cheers for being 6 and wishing you that all your dreams will come true someday. Kocham cię!

Colors of Summer
Thursday, February 23, 2012
Been a boring winter months...So wanted to inspire myself with festive colors of summer.
Polish summer is colorful and full of life.
![”mommy]()
As a mom, i have to make activity for my kids especially outdoors. So summer is the best time to do things out of home since we are living in a cold country.
So when summer comes, this is what I love to do when sun is up...taking pictures of anything and of course with my kids.
And at this very moment, I am hoping tomorrow would be summer already. Awww!

Mommy Moments: Fear to poop on the toilet bowl
Friday, January 20, 2012
Been awhile not joining here in mommy moments. Today, i decided to take part since I know a lot can relate to what I am facing now with my daughter. here is my letter to all....hope you could help me in some ways.
Dear Mommies,
I have a 4 year old daughter who is now afraid to poop on the toilet bowl. She's had problems with constipation in the past and so has had painful poops. Her pediatrician prescribed her a stool softener which we give her and still holds her poop in fear of pain. She pees on the toilet bowl without a problem. for some reason pooping is a major anxiety for her. I am assuming other mom's out there has the same predicament as mine. We've tried positive reinforcement, rewards, strategies, role playing with her favorite stuffed toys ..name it we've done it! but still she get terrified when needing to go to the toilet and stop the poops from coming out. I get so frustrated sometimes that I end up getting angry and annoyed, since i am also taking care of my youngest son who is sick right now.
Now the best advice i want is to how i could morally support my child and successfully end what becomibg a battle of wills.how can you help someone learn something when they keep refusing to do it?anecdotes to what you do with your child something similar would greatly appreciated and would be helpful. i know this is a test of my profession..and at the same time test of patience. hugs!
a little frustrated mom,
ai

Back in Mommmy Moments : ORANGE FRIDAY
Friday, March 04, 2011
I am back!
Those are just wonderful simple moments with m kiddos but hey I love it to death....Taking candid pictures of them. It is so nostalgic when I look at it after some years or so.
this time with vengeance..kidding!
I could not recall anymore the last time I participated the Mommy Moments segment there at Mommy Journey site. But today, I decided to join again to share once again my wonderful mommy moments with my children. This time, I hope i could keep up with the theme every Friday.
Nevertheless, today theme is ORANGE. So, here is my kids enjoying there orangy moments at home.
For first timers in my site, this is my eldest child..my sweet little girl Izabela. She's our little darling at home.
The first picture was taken last summer. That is her favorite during summer...playing with water fountain.
Second picture was taken inside the house. She likes to play hide and seek. She usually hide herself in that orange warmer blanket and so i snap a pic of her then.
This is now my little boy. Time flies so fast exactly. He will celebrate his second birthday few weeks from now.
In the first picture, he is still learning how to walk then. Mostly likely, he's less than a year then. The second picture, was taken last December when they had fun time playing with the mandarin orangers at home. So i snap some pic of him with the mandarin orange as the subject, and i like the result, while Jan is looking at the mandarin.
That's my entry for today. Hope you like it. Now, heading to your site mommies.....
Happy Friday!

Mommy Moments: Look at that Mess
Friday, July 31, 2009
Before we'll hit the road for our summer get away, i'd like to share some messy pictures of my daughter, Iza.
We usually put something on her front body so she will not be that messy like the one in the picture. I put her white cloth on since it was taken last Christmas dinner. She's eating opłatek (opwatek) there, a host like wafer shared to everyone during Polish traditional christmas dinner.
So that cloth could somehow take the mess out of her clothes and it would just be on the cloth.
hey! they are still a child. They still do not know what is organization means. So, it is one way for them to know and learn how to solve problems eventually. Even if the room I usually placed them during the day really horribly messy, I do not care as long as Izabela is enjoying. Anyways by the end of the day before bath time, we always taught and told her to put all her toys in the box and things on its proper places. Now that she's two years old, she knows where to place and get her things either toys, books & just anything she has.
So that cloth could somehow take the mess out of her clothes and it would just be on the cloth.
but it is really cut to see them getting messy:D
Thank God it's Friday! and thank's to Mommy Chris for this Mommy Moments.
Join us next week here at Mommy Momments.

Mommy Moments: Playing time!
Friday, July 17, 2009
My entry for today's mommy moments.
My 2 years old Izabela loves to play not only with her toys but anything that catches her eyes. That sometimes we have to be careful with the things around the house especially ones that is not suitable for her age.
Anyhoo, here's some pictures of her while playing around the house.

and after a whole day of playing.......a knock out Izabela. heheh!

Sometimes, children doesn't need nice toys for them to enjoy. Anything that is safe for them to play with and suitable for their age is a nice option if we couldn't afford to buy an expensive one. Children has very shallow happiness. So long as they are well motivated and has that freedom to do anything with our guidance, they will be happy with it.

Mommy Moments: Bonding Time
Friday, February 27, 2009
Thank God it's Friday and time for MOMMY MOMENTS! Today's theme is BONDING TIME.
There's been some Fridays that I was not able to join because of this pregnancy and waiting to give birth so soon (hopefully by next week). Anyhow, I am back with more pics this time.

One of our bonding moments with my Izabela is walking outside the house or infront of the garden during summer. She loves to pick flowers and give it to me or to her tata ( polish word for daddy).

Or just spend some hours and take a walk in the park. This picture was taken last Autumn.

Mostly, if the weather is not that fine and especially during winter, we are just at home with Izabela. Playing with her, singing, dancing, reading books and doing some arty stuff.
This was taken when she was just some months old. I think 6 months (not sure uh).

Last Christmas eve.

And there is no great bonding moments than just being together. Holding, hugging and being with each other... Like this picture.
We have lots of bonding time pictures with Izabela but I could not find most of them now since hubby is cleaning the computer and transfering most of the files in the other computer.
Bonding time with your kids is really an essential tool to keep that feeling of love, security and belongingness to each one. We should spend quality time with our kiddos even how busy life can be. We should not give excuses.

Mommy Moments: Preggy Days
Friday, February 06, 2009
It's Friday! Time for mommy moments. This Friday's theme is about preggy days. I have a lots of captured moments during my preggy days with Izabela and now my present pregnancy.
Here are some of my captured preggy moments...
My first pregnancy were actually filled with emotions maybe because I still do not know what to expect then and fears overpowers me all the time. That is why we enrolled with hubby in school of giving birth of birth class so we will know what to expect and what to do with the baby.
During my second trimester, I was so sick that my doctors advised me to be admitted in the hospital but I refused and just wanting to have home treatment in which they approved. I have to take some antibiotics because i have that UTI as well.
Izabela didn't come out on time so I have to be in induced labor plus it is so hard for me to dilate. They had to make some injections thrice at my butt so I will have contractionsf Moreover, I have bloody discharge which makes it more painful for my birthing. Good that the hospital where I gave birth (where I also had my birth class) really assist me and makes it easy for me. After i gave birth to Izabela I suffered Anemia which is no longer new to me eversince I am anemic. Nevertheless, it was totally a safe pregnancy and unforgettable birthing.
And my present pregnancy.....so far, I am doing good with the second pregnancy.
Can't actually wait to see our little darling soon.
