FAMILY TALKS
There were times that we couldn't help but regrets on some aspects of our life. No matter how we truly admit that we have moved on, there comes a time that it will just flash back in our memory and kick our butts that hey! it's still there.
I don't want to be melodramatic in this entry. It's just that, at this every moment, my memory flash back whilst chatting with family over YM. I realized there were lots of instances I miz bonding with family. Most often, my time is spent at work or over with friends. Now, that I am too far away from them, I miz that bonding moments... Simple but quality time with my dad, mom and two super 'makulit' brothers.
ON IZABELA
Oh! how time truly flies. My baby Izabela will be turning one year old next month. No plan yet what to prepare but her mass offering is already scheduled on the 3rd of August. Yes, when babies here turns one year or that anniversary of their baptism, parents or family will offer or sort of present the baby in the church. It's one Polish tradition which they call 'rocznica chrztu'. It's like in the bible where Jesus was presented in the temple. Pretty new to me actually because we don't have such tradition back home. Now, it's time to plan Izabela's birthday party. I don't know how and when but I'd like to plan it the way i want it to be...in a Filipino way. Suggestions anyone?
I kept on bugging my parents, wish they are here to celebrate with us.
That's all for today. Enjoy summer!
